Smooth mineral oil for any sewing machine.

• Most modern sewing machines do not need regular oiling except where directed to in the user manual.  Please check before purchase.

• Vegetable and seed oils usually used for cooking are not a suitable substitute.

• Knowing the previous note had to be written has made the author very cross and the workshop has seen examples of this happening time and time again. We don't wish to see it any more.  Machines become very sticky and seize to the point of damaging parts and becoming unfixable.  Don't let that be you.
