Machine and Service Warranties

Singer’s Standard Warranty on Singer products is 12 months from date of purchase, when used for normal household or domestic purposes and 90 days for all other uses, against defects arising from faulty materials or workmanship.

In addition to the Singer Standard Warranty, against defects arising from faulty materials or workmanship, domestic users will be granted an extended warranty, as   detailed below*, provided you register your warranty online at www.singerco.com.au/product-registration

Non-domestic use is 90 days from date of purchase and no further extension applies.

*Mechanical Sewing Machines and Overlockers 3-year warranty includes:

1st year – warranty parts and warranty labour free of charge 2nd and 3rd year – all warranty parts will be provided free of charge.

*Electronic Sewing Machines 5-year warranty includes:

1st and 2nd year – warranty parts and warranty labour provided free of charge 3rd -5th year – all warranty parts will be provided free of charge.

The warranty does not include consumable items such as hooks, light bulbs, needles, needle plates & bobbin cases and does not cover faults caused by abuse or misuse of the machine or accidental damage or loss.

Freight and insurance to and from the place of service is the responsibility of the owner and warranty automatically becomes void if any adjustment, part replacement or repair is carried out by any person other than an authorised service representative, or the product is not serviced in accordance with the instruction manual. The warranty applies only to the original owner and is not transferable in the event the product is sold or otherwise disposed of. Please retain original packaging for safe transporting in case warranty is required.

In addition to the 2 years PFAFF Standard Warranty, the purchaser will be granted an extended warranty on parts for three more years provided the machine is registered for warranty online: HERE

This means a warranty of:

• Five (5) years on mechanical parts
• Five (5) years on electronic parts
• Two (2) years on labour

This warranty is made only to the original purchaser who acquires a PFAFF product for their own normal, personal family or household use from an authorised PFAFF dealer in Australia and does not cover commercial use.

Needles, light bulbs, belts, knives, needle plates, needle threaders, and loopers are not covered by this warranty. Nor does this warranty cover conditions unrelated to the material or the workmanship of the product.

Sewing Perfection Machine Co. are official distributors of many sewing machine brands including; PFAFF industrial, Mauser, Rich Peace, Assag, Veit, and more. We also specialize in welding equipment for synthetic textiles with hot wedge, hot air and ultrasonic welders with brands; PFAFF industrial, Sonotronics, and Typhoon.

Unless otherwise stated on quote or Invoice. Sewing Perfection Machine Co. provide a 12-month factory warranty on supplied industrial sewing machines, motors and sewing bench components and welders. Sewing Perfection Machine Co. will review or repair any manufacturing or workmanship failure for the duration of the warranty.

The customer must notify Sewing Perfection Machine Co. of any claim in a timely manner of the fault. Exclusions include all consumable spare parts including, but not limited to bobbins, knives, feed dogs, throat plates, thread guides, loopers, rotary hook & base assemblies or shuttles and switches. Limitations include service labour; approved warranty work will be covered for free service labour for a period of 12 months from purchase/installation date.

Warranty excludes claims due to misuse, neglect, operator error, accident, unsuitable operation outside of the machines intended purpose and specification, general machine adjustments/settings including, but not limited to thread tension balancing, stitch length or foot pressure or feed adjustments. Skip stitching and thread breaking calls are subject to technician findings before warranty claim can be approved. Sewing Perfection Machine Co. may be entitled to recover cost for service labour and parts for non-approved warranty works depending on findings from technician.

 Warranty does not cover further training of operators for basic machine adjustments and functions.

• Warranty for servicing is three months.
• Warranty for service and parts replaced only extends to original issues and any new issues not connected will be treated as separate.
• Warranty does not cover user error including, hook timing, needle breakage, thread wrapping or needle plate damage. 
• We reserve the right as trained professionals to fairly and impartially judge any warranties claimed through service on a case-by-case basis. 
• It is the owner's responsibility to keep any receipts, invoices or paperwork pursuant to any claims made.
• We reserve the right to refuse a service due to age of the machine, make or model of notorious machines.
• We reserve the right to refuse a service to toy machines or handheld devices
